The maps in the Massachusetts collection cover the time span from the early settlement days to the early 1900's. Panoramic maps of major cities, revolutionary war maps, British and French colony maps are in this collection. The maps are printed on premium grade photographic material using archival quality inks to create a long lasting and beautiful maps. Maps are available in three sizes, 16 inch x 24 inch, 24 inch x 36 inch and 36 inch x 54 inch. The early settler of the area, now know as Massachusetts arrived in the area in the early 1600s. The Pilgrim arrived in 1620 and established their colony at Plymouth. The Pilgrims established a democratic form of government in accordance with the "Mayflower Compact", an agreement binding all to conform to the will of the majority of citizens. In 1621 the first Thanksgiving was held between the Pilgrims and the Indians. By the year 1640 immigrants in Massachusetts numbered 16,000.
