In the U.S. Maps section, there is a wonderful selection of historical maps of America from the 1700s. 1800s and early 1900s. One of the maps is the first map of the United States published in 1783, the legend on this map shows the map is made in accordance to the agreeable peace between Great Britain and the United States at the end of the Revolutionary War.
